The freshmen enrolled in an honors seminar at Hunter College called “The Peopling of New York” were asked to interview a close relative and write about their families’ immigration history. Most were either immigrants themselves or the children of immigrants – from Asia, Europe and Latin America. These 20 students shared their oral histories during a recent class. Related Article
